Nine Polar PatternsOne of the most unique features of the Golden Age Project TC1 Microphone is the nine selectable polar patterns. The nine patterns include Cardioid, Omnidirectional, Figure-8 and six intermediate stages. The polar patterns are selectable via the external power supply, with it including a switch for toggling between patterns. Each polar pattern is suited for various recording applications, such as the Cardioid pickup pattern being great for vocal and instrument recordings. The six intermediate stages provide a combination of the three main polar patterns, resulting in highly unique tones that can be used for a variety of sound sources.
